There was a crash this morning on the A20 Ashford Road near the junction with Caring Lane, Bearsted.

The accident happened at 5.51am and involved two cars.

One driver received treatment at the scene for an injury described as "minor" but he was taken to hospital as a precaution.

The crash vehicles have been cleared, but one lane remains closed because of an oil spillage.

Kent Highways crews are at the scene to clear it up.
