Here comes Santa Claus...and again...and

Santa arrived early in Kent this year, well 20
of them to be precise.

They all gathered at Leeds Castle to promote the first Cystic Fibrosis Santa Run due to take place on Sunday November 29.

It's hoped on the day, 500 runners will don
Santa Claus outfits for a 2km and 5km fun run in aid of funding
research into a new drug for the potential treatment of the disease
in children.

The money raised will go toward much-needed
funds to run trials of the drug next year.

South East regional fundraising manager, Jo
Holdaway, is from the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

She said: "The aim of the event really is to
raise as much money and as much awareness as possible.

“We hope lots and lots of people out there
will sign up for the run and have fun."

Cystic Fibrosis affects more than 8,000 people
in the UK, and over two million people in the UK carry the faulty
gene that causes Cystic Fibrosis - around one in 25 of the
population.
