Fremlin Walk, in Maidstone town centre, plans remembrance service to pay respect to armed services

A special act of remembrance will take place in Maidstone tomorrow.

Fremlin Walk will host a 15 minute service, beginning at 10.45am.

It has been prepared by Reverend Kevin Jones, a minister of the United Reformed Church and Chaplain to The Royal Dragoon Guards.

The shopping centre has also set up a Poppy Wall. This will be filled by poppies from passing visitors to pay tribute to the armed services.

A raffle to win a silver bangle and poppy charm will also take place.

It has donated by jewellery store Pandora and to enter make a donation for a gold pin at the kiosk in front of the store.
