The frontman of British band Squeeze is the latest name added to a five-day music event.

Glenn Tilbrook will perform at the Music Room in Pizza Express, Earl Street, as part of this year’s Maidstone Fringe Festival. The singer, who also took part in last year’s event, will be at the restaurant on Saturday, May 3.

The annual celebrations welcome an array of performers to the town over the first May Bank Holiday weekend.

Other artists include The Bluetones lead singer Mark Morriss, Ms Dynamite, Artful Dodger, and Dulcie May and the Mystery Cats.

Acts will grace stages at various venues, including an open-air gig in Jubilee Square, between May 1 and May 5. Full details at www.maidstonefringe.com
