Marvel and Star Wars actors coming to Maidstone Comic-Con at Ballin' in Bank Street this weekend

Comic books fans can get excited as the town's first Comic-Con event is going ahead this weekend.

Events club Ballin', in Bank Street, Maidstone, will be hosting the event this Sunday as part of its family fun days.

Guests at the event will include Stars Wars and Marvel actors, including Paul O'Kelly who made an appearance in the new Disney Plus series Obi-Wan Kenobi as a prisoner.

He will be joined by original Stormtrooper Vic Gallucci, who appeared in Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope, and actress Yolanda Lynes who made an appearance as a widow assassin alongside Scarlett Johansson in the Black Widow film about Avenger Natasha Romanoff.

Yolanda has also recently been apart of the Knives Out 2 film, set to be released later this year.

'Hard man' Frank Harper from the 2004 film Football Factory is also scheduled to make an appearance, as well as former AEW wrestling star Sadie Gibbs.

Star Wars costume Club Vaiders Raiders will also be showing off their outfits at the venue alongside Medway Ghostbusters, The Ninja Trooper, the Star Cross fairies, Bubbleebee and more.

Comic Con in Maidstone will be held at Ballin' in Bank Street

The event will run from 10am to 4pm and will cost £5.

Tickets can be purchased on the door.
