Maidstone shoppers will be able to pick up beverages, including the famous Pumpkin Spice Latte, from a brand new Starbucks Coffee.

The store will open its doors to shoppers on Colman Parade, King Street, on Friday.

Starbucks, based just two doors down from Cafe Nero on the corner of Wyke Manor Road and King Street, and directly opposite rival chain Costa Coffee, will create 15 new jobs in the area.

The new store will be supporting local charity, Restoring Hands - a Maidstone charity that offers support across the community in providing assistance to improve quality of life, restore dignity and promote hope for the future.

It will have two private meeting rooms which can be booked in advance in store.

The meeting rooms will offer a place for local businesses and members of the community to escape the office, with access to free Wi-Fi and power sockets.

Leon King, Area Manager of franchise partner Cobra Coffee said: “It’s very exciting to finally be opening our doors here in Maidstone.

"We’re looking forward to working with our charity partners, playing an active role in the community and welcoming plenty of new faces over the coming weeks and months."

The store will be open Monday-Saturday 7am-7pm and between 8am-6pm on Sundays.
