AS THE clock struck seven on Monday, July 7, the magical evening of the Maplesden Noakes School Summer Ball began.

As students and staff arrived in style, many with limousines, through the gates of Leeds Castle, a memorable evening was guaranteed due to the hard work and dedication of the Year 13 prom committee, whose preparations began last year.

The evening was a celebration of all the students’ and staff’s hard work over the last few years, allowing a demonstration of their maturity and was an excellent way of moving on into their adult lives.

After the photo frenzy, capturing lasting memories of everyone looking stunning, all "booted and suited", the evening got under way with a delicious three-course dinner, white wine reception and informal speeches.

The disco and dancing began to the enjoyment of both staff and students celebrating and having fun together.

The success of the evening was shown on everyone’s faces and by their reluctance to leave when midnight came, as the time had flown so fast. We wish everyone the best of luck for the future and much happiness.
