A suspected drug dealer has appeared in court after being arrested in Maidstone.

Shalmuwn Hall was arrested in County Road at 2.09pm yesterday.

The 22-year-old, of Olive Road in Cricklewood, London, was charged with possession of one gram of cocaine and half an ounce of cannabis with intent to supply and being concerned with the supply of both drugs.

Hall was remanded in custody and appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court today where he did not enter a plea.

He was further remanded in custody and will appear at Maidstone Crown Court next month.
