Two people have been arrested on suspicion of supplying of class A drugs in Maidstone today.

Police officers detained a 22-year-old man in Buckland Hill at 11.10am and an 18-year-old woman in Lesley Place at 12.30pm.

Both were from Maidstone.

A quantity of drugs believed to be heroin and cocaine was seized and the suspects remain in police custody.

They were both released pending further investigation.
