A 17-year-old boy was one of three people arrested after a drugs raid in Maidstone town centre.

The teen, from London, was searched at an address in Church Street on Tuesday, and was taken into police custody on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class A substance.

A 45-year-old woman from Maidstone was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug.

They were both released on bail until May.

The third person, Samantha Parsons, 39, of Park Lane, Kemsing, in Sittingbourne, was charged with shoplifting and driving without insurance.
