Teenage boy arrested after two car crash in Stockett Lane, Coxheath, close to Coxheath Primary School

A 17-year-old boy has been arrested after he allegedly fled the scene of an accident this afternoon.

Police were called to Stockett Lane, in Coxheath, at 1.23pm after being told that two cars had collided.

A police spokesman said it was reported that the teenager, who was driving a Peugeot 106, had ran away from the accident, which happened close to Coxheath Primary School.

He was later arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.

One person is believed to have suffered a leg injury and the South East Coast Ambulance Service was also called.
