Hidden pocket woman among three people arrested for theft near Lord Lees roundabout, Blue Bell Hill, Maidstone

A woman arrested on suspicion of theft was found wearing a specially altered skirt with a hidden pocket.

The 22-year-old was arrested along with a 37-year-old man, both with no fixed address, and a 17-year-old girl from Slough.

They were found with clothing, cosmetics, and food which officers suspected to be stolen.

Police also discovered number of bags which had been adapted in a way that may avoid security tag alerts and noticed the large concealed pocket on the woman’s skirt.

The group’s car was stopped by officers near the Lord Lees roundabout at around 12:50pm on Monday, November 6.

All three have since been released under investigation.
