Tommy Warrilow won’t be making any hasty decisions on the futures of his players.

The Tonbridge boss (pictured) will let his squad celebrate an impressive debut season in Blue Square Bet South at their presentation night on Saturday week, before continuing his squad plans.

Warrilow, who has already signed 10 of his current squad for next season, admitted: "Hand on heart I know there are a couple of lads I will probably have to release, it might even be three or four.

"I want the boys to enjoy themselves first, but I am sure those concerned want to know what’s happening.

"Our targets have changed a bit due to the budget cuts, and if I do release players I haven’t got the funds to replace them."

Reflecting on the whole campaign, he added: "We lost only five of our last 20, three of them in the last month. We kept the season alive as long as possible, and were still in with a shout of the play-offs with four matches left.

"It was a good season, and it will be hard to better it, but we’ll try."

Meanwhile, Tonbridge are waiting on a call from Crystal Palace assistant manager Lennie Lawrence, about a new date for Scott Gooding’s testimonial, which was postponed last week.
