Police tape off alleyway and four men taken to hospital after brawl next to KFC in Week Street, Maidstone

Four men were taken to hospital after a disturbance led to an alleyway being taped off by police.

Officers have cordoned off the alley, next to KFC, in Week Street, Maidstone.

The cordon is also in place the other side of the alleyway, in Station Road.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at around 2.45am on Friday, June 11 regarding a disturbance in Week Street, Maidstone, near the junction with Brewer Street.

"Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene where four men were treated for injuries and were taken to a local hospital for further medical attention.

"They were later arrested on suspicion of affray and taken into custody.

The cordon is also in Station Road, the other side of the alleyway

"Officers have placed a cordon at an alleyway near the scene of the incident in connection with their enquiries."
