Delays are starting to clear following a rush-hour crash which caused severe queues in Maidstone.

Traffic was building throughout the morning after the smash on the A229 Loose Road, before the crossroads with Armstrong Road, which was having a knock-on effect on other routes throughout the County Town.

Highways chiefs advise drivers allow extra time for their journeys.
