Skips fall off back of lorry, causing delays in Harrietsham along A20 Ashford Road

A pile of skips fell off the back of a lorry this morning, causing delays for more than two hours on a busy road.

The incident happened at about 11.15am in Harrietsham, along the A20 Ashford Road.

There were delays in both directions near the Church Road junction as a result.

One witness said: "A lorry has shed its load by the bridge in Harrietsham and caused traffic delays.

"It was blocking the main road in Harrietsham."

Traffic had cleared by about 1.30pm.
