Two men have been arrested in connection with the supply of drugs after police stopped their car.

Officers searched the vehicle today in Ringden Avenue, Paddock Wood, and seized substances believed to be cocaine and cannabis, five mobile phones and a quantity of cash.

The driver, a 24-year-old man from Maidstone, was arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply and traffic offences.

The passenger, a 30-year-old man from Maidstone, was arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply.

They remain in police custody.
