Valentine is looking for love and a home

A dog born on Valentine’s Day is looking for love and somewhere to call home.
The female Jack Russell-Staffy cross, appropriately called Valentine, has been living at the RSPCA animal centre in Leybourne since June last year.
Liz Wood, the centre’s deputy manager, said: “She loves people and would fit well into a home where she could spend a lot of time with her new owners.”
“Valentine can be quite feisty with other dogs and cats, so she would be better off in a home where there are no other pets.”
Valentine, who is brindle and black, was taken away from her previous owners after concerns about her welfare.
She has been given some training and understands some commands.
Liz added: “She is such a friendly little dog that she would make a lovely companion for somebody,”
“It would be a shame to leave her on her own for Valentine’s Day.”
If you can offer Valentine a home, please call the centre on 0300 123 8345/8340.
