Brad the guinea pig beat hundreds of other competitors to win last year's Kent Messenger Precious Pets competition after being entered by his eight-year-old owner Chloe Hennessey of Wallis Avenue, Park Wood, Maidstone.

This year's hopefuls appear in a special 16-page picture supplement in this week's Kent Messenger.
