Kent Police appeal

A woman has told police a man tried to grope her after following her into the toilets at a Maidstone bar.

She told police the man went into the ladies' toilets and 'touched her inappropriately' at Lashings, in Upper Stone Street, in the early hours of Saturday, October 5.

A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the allegation and released on bail until next month while the investigation continues.

Officers have this week launched an appeal for further information.
