X Factor finalist Josh Zaré will be returning to his hometown as his band headlines the first SNAP disco of 2014.

Kingsland Road will take to the stage at Maidstone Leisure Centre from 7pm to 10.30pm on Friday January 31 as part of an anti-drugs campaign run by Kent Police and Crimestoppers.

The five-strong boyband, tipped to be the next big thing be mentor Gary Barlow, made it to the last nine acts in the ITV talent show, bowing out in the fourth week of live shows.

Josh, a 20-year-old former Maidstone Grammar School student, told fans he was “buzzing” to perform in Maidstone.

The discos provide a safe environment for young people aged 11 to 16, and have been running for over 15 years.
