Harry Young edged Kieran McAuliffe to win the inaugural Kings Hill 10k on Sunday.

Young's time of 35min50sec was just four seconds faster than McAuliffe, with Justin Lane completing the top three in 37.07 as 128 runners completed the course.

Georgina Bennett's 43.57 was enough to win the women's race, ahead of Kate Cole (45.35) and Claire Stone (46.28).

Luke Anderson won the men's 5k in 20.24. Leading the chase was Joel Brown (21.32), while Maidstone's Stuart Chell set a new personal best of 21.38 for third.

Tonbridge AC's Luciana Anderson set the pace in the women's 5k. Her 24.26 was enough to beat clubmate Cara Brown (25.56) into second spot with Joanna Earle next home in 27.31.
