Bottom-of-the-table Maidstone endured another day to forget with a comprehensive London 2 South defeat to Dover on Saturday.

The game was the Sharks' first visit to the Mote in more than 25 years and their superior teamwork from the first whistle to last got its rewards.

Dover went ahead with a 15th-minute penalty and from then it was all one-way traffic.

Maidstone showed some resistance when Ed Laurent halved the deficit to make the score 10-5, but that was as good as it got before the Sharks scored three more tries.
