Maidstone cruised past Dover’s academy side in the Kent Senior Cup second round.

Goals from Ollie Muldoon, Olu Durojaiye, George McLennan and substitute Blair Turgott sent United through at the Gallagher Stadium.

Stones debutant Josh Strizovic hadn’t had a save to make before being beaten by a Harrison Kempston penalty in the last 10 minutes.

Jordan Spencer pulled another goal back in injury time.

As expected, the Stones dominated possession against Dover’s youngsters.

It was little more than a practice match for United’s first-teamers, although it took them almost half an hour to break the deadlock.

Muldoon was the scorer but it was an unfortunate one for keeper Wesley Miller who was caught out by the pace on his 30-yard strike.

The second followed on 39 minutes with Durojaiye’s bullet header from a Muldoon corner giving Miller no chance.

Three good chances fell to Gold Omotayo, all from Jack Doyle crosses, but on each occasion his header missed the target.

Maidstone went three up in the 53rd minute with a superb McLennan header from Cassidy’s cross.

Miller made an outstanding save from substitute Jake Cassidy after Muldoon’s pass split the defence.

But it was 4-0 on 67 minutes when substitute Turgott cut in from the left and beat Miller with the help of a deflection.

Whites substitute Spencer went close with an imaginative 40-yard strike that drew applause from the home crowd.

And Dover had their goal in the 83rd minute after a clumsy challenge gave Kempston the chance to beat Strizovic from the spot.

Maidstone struck the woodwork twice in a matter of seconds at the end, Muldoon’s free-kick hitting the post and Omotayo’s header coming back off the bar.

Spencer added Dover's second in added time after the ball came back off the post from a corner.
