Stones joint-boss Lloyd Hume is looking forward to the visit of Hendon

Maidstone v Hendon

Maidstone go into Saturday's home clash with Hendon on a high and with an unchanged line-up after the 4-0 trouncing of Hastings on Monday.

Joint-bosses Lloyd Hume and Alan Walker saw their new-look side rip their Ryman League Premier Division rivals apart with Nathan Paul and Elliot Bradbrook causing problems down the flanks and hat-trick hero James Pinnock and new-signing Meshach Nugent proving a handful upfront.

Hume said he hoped the players would take the confidence into the game against the north Londoners - who were the last side Maidstone beat at Bourne Park after a 3-2 triumph in February.

Hume said: "We want to go into the game firing on all cylinders. I am very excited. The players know that we are not going to change a team that won 4-0 unless we get an injury."

He added: "Nathan showed glimpses of his best on Saturday and was absolutely superb on Monday. He was back to his best and hopefully will keep it going on Saturday."

Hendon arrive 13th in the table, five places below the Stones after of back-to-back defeats but Hume says they will still provide a stern test.

He said: “They have dropped points but last year they were one of the stronger teams we faced and they have added one or two. They are in a false position at the moment.”
