MAIDSTONE United have signed Kent League golden boot Mo Takaloo from Ramsgate.

The former Margate, Tonbridge and Dartford striker has joined the Stones on a one-year ontract.

Stones manager Lloyd Hume said: "He was our number one target. Signing him was easier than I expected. He's obviously won things with Ramsgate but he believes he can go on to win more with Maidstone.

"He's had the ambition to play for us for a number of years, partly because of our history and because of the number of supporters we bring to matches. It's a small step back to a big step forward."
