DISAPPOINTED: Alan Walker

RAY POWELL has walked out on Maidstone United after receiving abuse from supporters during their 1-0 defeat against Molesey.

The striker, who only joined four weeks ago as a replacement for Mo Takaloo, was one of several players subjected to insults by a section of the crowd.

Stones' joint-manager Alan Walker said: "Supporters are entitled to say what they like, but I'd ask them to make criticism positive and constructive.

"I'm disappointed because he's a very, very good player."
