Maidstone will start the new Ryman League, Premier Division season at home to Met Police on August 9.

That’s followed by away games at VCD on August 12 and Bognor Regis on August 16.

There’s a Bank Holiday Monday derby at Tonbridge on August 25, with Stones away to title favourites Margate on September 23.

United go to promoted Peacehaven & Telscombe on Boxing Day, host Tonbridge on New Year’s Day and welcome Margate on March 28.

Stones finish the season at home to East Thurrock on April 25.

Boss Jay Saunders said: “I didn’t wake up worrying about who we were going to get but it’s nice to start and finish with a home game.

“Met Police are always well organised and I know they’ve strengthened, then we’ve got two tough away games.

“The only other game I always look out for is Boxing Day. It seems a bit strange to be going to Peacehaven when we could have had Margate or Tonbridge.”
