These aerial shots reveal the true extent of a huge blaze which ripped through a block of flats at the weekend.

At its height, more than 100 firefighters dealt with the blaze at a block of flats in Snodland.

They were called to the three-storey building which contains 22 flats at Lambe Close, Manley Boulevard, Holborough Lakes, just before 7am on Saturday.

At least 15 fire engines were sent to the scene, along with two height vehicles and a water management unit.

Police today revealed the cause is not being treated as suspicious at this stage.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) echoed this, with a spokesman saying KFRS did not believe there are suspicious circumstances.

They added: "The fire service's remit is to try to establish the most probable cause of the fire, and where it started.

"This will include gaining evidence from any witnesses, as well as excavating the fire scene, where this is possible, and there is remaining evidence to gather. We expect this to be completed later this week."

Firefighters have now left the scene, and more than £2,000 has been raised to help the victims.
