Four people have been arrested after armed police were called out to a suspected gun sighting during a disturbance on an estate.

Officers were called to the high-end Holborough Lakes estate in Snodland at around 8.40pm last night.

It came after a disturbance was reported at a property in Clock Tower Mews, in which a firearm was allegedly seen.

The quaint estate of Holborough Lakes was the scene to an armed raid on Monday night

Armed officers arrested a 32-year-old man on suspicion of possessing a firearm.

A 38-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of assault and of being involved with the supply of a controlled drug.

Two men, aged 41 and 30, were arrested on suspicion of supplying a controlled drug.

Officers were told that others present at Clock Tower Mews had gone to an address in Berry Drive, so they also attended there. No offences were reported and no arrests were made at that location.

These arrests are not being linked to the earlier burglary in nearby Birling, which took place on Monday afternoon.

All four people were subsequently released on bail, pending further inquiries until Thursday, June 30.
