Police close A25 Maidstone Road in Borough Green after a crash between Crow Hill Road and Minters Orchard

A road has been reopened after a woman crashed into a lamp post.

The A25 Maidstone Road in Borough Green was shut in both directions at around 9.40am today after the collision between Crow Hill Road and Minters Orchard.

The air ambulance was called but a spokesman for Kent Police said it's believed the driver's injuries are not considered to be life threatening or life changing.

The motorist is still being assessed by doctors.

Her vehicle has been removed from the scene and the road is now open.

South East Coast Ambulance Service attended, as did officers from Kent Police.
