Crews are currently on the scene of a kitchen fire in a property in Paddock Wood.

They were called to the incident, in Willow Lane, at around 10.42am.

Two engines are at the single story building, tackling the blaze.

Teams wearing breathing apparatus and using hose reels are putting the fire out.

They are also using a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke and will remain on site to damp down, as well as checking for hot spots with a thermal imaging camera.
