One lane is closed on a motorway exit after a car collided with a lamppost.

Delays have been caused to the M20 exit toward junction 5 after the vehicle then verged off the road into a hedge.

Crews were alerted of the incident on the Coldharbour roundabout, London Road, at around 12.54pm today.

Four police units, an ambulance and Kent Fire and Rescue are in attendance.

A Kent county council representative is en route to assess the damage.

One man was taken to the Tunbridge Wells hospital to treat neck and back pains after the car overturned.
