Oxford graduate Richard Morris is standing for election in Tonbridge and Malling for the first time.

A founding member of Invicta Radio and a governor of Kent Music, Mr Morris has lived in Edenbridge with his family for more than 30 years, during which time he has served as a trustee to a number of educational and arts charities.

He's also on the committee of the West Kent European Movement.

Mr Morris said: "As a passionate supporter of a united Britain and Northern Ireland at the heart of Europe, I believe the calling of the 2016 referendum was a monumental mistake. Years later our leaders are still unclear as to what this instruction meant. Instead of finding a constructive outcome, they are treating our closest neighbours, partners and allies as enemies.

"A second referendum with a remain option is the only solution to the Brexit impasse."
