Traffic held on M20 after lorry crash at J4 near Leybourne and Snodland

Drivers were held on the M20 due to an accident involving two lorries.

The three-vehicle crash happened at J4 A228 Castle Way, for Leybourne and Snodland at around 9am.

The motorway was closed on the eastbound carriageway between J4 and J5 as a result.

All lanes reopened just after 10am but there are still some delays in the area.

An ambulance spokesman said: "Crews were called following reports of an RTC on the M20 at the junction 4 slip road.

"One male patient was assessed and treated before being taken to Medway Maritime Hospital for further checks."

Police have confirmed they also attended the scene.
