A man accused of abducting a child and perverting the course of justice will stand trial in November.
Jessie Hilden, 30, is alleged to have committed the abduction offence involving a girl under 16 between May 8 and 10 this year.
He is alleged to have perverted the course of justice by persuading her to give a false account of events to police.
Hilden, of Caravan site, Windmill Lane West, West Malling, will stand trial on November 19. A pre-trial review will be held on November 2.
He was further remanded in custody when he appeared at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday.
