Kent Police appeal for information after man assaulted in Church Street, Offham

An investigation has been launched after a man was assaulted by a group in Offham early on Sunday morning.

At 2.30am three men assaulted a man in Church Street.

Police have launched an investigation after a man was assaulted in Offham

They are reported to have travelled to and from the scene in a silver Volkswagen and the victim did not sustain serious injuries.

Reports suggested the Volkswagen could be linked to an address in Newcastle.

Northumbria Police officers attended a property in the city as part of routine enquiries on Sunday.

Enquiries to find the vehicle and establish the full circumstances are ongoing.

Anyone who witnessed the disturbance, or who may have CCTV that captures the offenders or the vehicle travelling in the area, should call Kent Police on 01622 604100 quoting 46/70988/20.
