Girl grabbed by stranger in Bramley Road, Snodland

Police are hunting two men in a white Transit-style van after one of them tried to grab a teenage girl.

The incident happened on Friday at around 6.30pm in Snodland.

The girl was walking along Bramley Road towards Malling Road when the van parked next to her.

The driver spoke to her but as she carried on walking, he jumped out and pulled her sweatshirt. The youngster broke free and ran away.

The van reversed towards her then drove off towards Birling Road, returning later to drive in the direction of Malling Road.

The driver is described as being white, late 20s with short straight hair and a beard, and the passenger was said to be late 20s.

The van is described as having a diagonal orange stripe on the rear.
