Three naked ramblers seen walking in Hurst Wood near St Mary's Platt

Police have were called to a woods after three naked ramblers were spotted.

The trio of unclad hikers were out strolling in Hurst Wood near St Mary's Platt wearing nothing more than boots, sun hats and rucksacks on their backs when they crossed paths with a dog walker.

The encounter was reported to a forestry worker, who is understood to have told them to get dressed and leave before calling the police.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 1pm on Wednesday to reports three men had been seen walking partially naked in Hurst Wood, near Platt.

"It is believed the men were possibly naturists and they left when they were challenged by a person who encountered them.

"Officers attended to try and establish the full circumstances, but were unable to locate the men."
