Police descended on a Kent village after two men were seen acting suspiciously.

Officers were called to Court Lane at 9am, and enlisted the help of the police helicopter.

A van was also stopped on the High Street, but police have not given any details about the nature of the incident.

Police were called at 3.45am

A resident reported a number of police cars in Maidstone Road and a helicopter was seen hovering over Hadlow Park.

It happened as police were also called to an incident in nearby East Peckham. Several cars, dog units and the police helicopter was sent.

No one was charged with any offences.
