Police are hunting a stranger who has been leaving sexually explicit letters outside a woman's home for the past six months.

The victim, aged in her 60s, says a man has left six anonymous notes containing "suggestions of a sexual nature" outside her property in Ditton.

In the latest incident, on January 20, she was putting out rubbish when she noticed an explicit note written in black ink on a scrap of paper in her garden.

Do you recognise this man?

Police say they have been carrying out house to house enquiries, considering forensic opportunities and checking for possible CCTV.

An image is now being issued of a man police want to speak to. He is believed to be aged over 50.

Sergeant Mark Ginsberg said: "These letters have caused a considerable amount of distress and anxiety to the victim.

"We are continuing to fully investigate the circumstances to identify the person responsible and I would urge anyone with information to get in touch."

If you recognise the man in the photo or have information, call police on 01622 604100, quoting reference YY/2281/17, or Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555111.
