Larkfield: Police investigate sexual assault at Leybourne Lakes

A girl was reportedly sexually assaulted in country park yesterday morning.

The teenager was approached by a man on a footpath leading to Leybourne Lakes from New Hythe Lane, Larkfield, between 8.25am and 8.35am.

The man was seen repairing a bicycle and spoke to the victim as she walked in his direction. He is then reported to have indecently touched her before riding away.

He is described as being white, between 5ft 6ins and 5ft 8ins tall and aged between 18 and 20.

At the time he was wearing a black jumper with grey jogging bottoms and black trainers with straps. He was also wearing a black, woolly hat and black gloves.
