Police have acted quickly and returned a stolen BMW X5 to its rightful owners within an hour of it being reported missing.

It was at 2.30am on Monday morning, that officers received a report that a BMW X5 had been stolen from an address in Kings Hill.

A police patrol boxed in the suspect

The information was broadcast to patrols who spotted the car exiting the slip road off the M20 and coming to a stop at traffic lights on the Swanley interchange.

A patrol boxed the car in and officers arrested the occupant. The car, which costs around £59,000 new, was back with its owner by 3.30am.
