Students at Holmesdale School in Snodland have been told their school will be closed again for the second day, thanks to Storm Eunice.

The storm took out powers supplies to the building in Malling Road on Friday.

Glenn Prebble: "Sorry"

The school was closed today and now will also not open on Tuesday.

Head of school Glenn Prebble said: "I have been informed that power will now not be returning to the school until later on Tuesday. This will unfortunately mean that the school will remain closed for Tuesday.

"The power company have confirmed that they will now undertake work underground tomorrow to resolve the issue with our power supply.

"We share your frustrations in not being able to open for the start of Term 4 but will do all we can to ensure that education will be delivered remotely using both Show My Homework and uploaded pre-recorded Loom lessons.

"Further information will be sent out in relation to how students can still access their online learning."
