Five fire crews and a British Red Cross emergency support unit were called out when a blaze spread through two stories of a home used as flats.

Firefighters fought the blaze at a two-storey property in Sedley Close, Aylesford from just after 3am today.

It's believed the blaze started in the garage and spread to both floors, causing severe damage.
