Cigarette thieves strike in Five Oak Green

Burglars broke into a shop in Five Oak Green near Tonbridge in the early hours of this morning.

The raid in Badsell Road took place at about 4.45am.

The break-in happened overnight

Two men carrying large yellow sacks are reported to have broken into the premises where they stole a quantity of cigarettes.

Detective Inspector Jim Farley, of Tonbridge CID, said: "We are appealing for witnesses who saw the incident or who may have seen anybody acting suspiciously in the area, to contact the appeal line.

"We are also asking motorists with dashcam and residents with private CCTV to check for footage that may assist the investigation."
