Suspects appear in court after burglary in Bradbourne Park Road, Sevenoaks

Two suspected burglars have appeared in court after a high-speed police chase.

On Thursday (September 28), police received a report of a break-in at a house in Bradbourne Park Road, Sevenoaks.

It happened at around 2pm and officers attended.

Two people were later arrested in Eynsford following a search.

Witnesses said officers used a stinger to stop a vehicle in front of shocked villagers on the school run.

The next day, investigators from the Kent Crime Squad charged Lewis Thomas and Kyle Ainsley, both 24, with three counts of burglary and theft of a car.

Lewis, of no fixed address and Ainsley, of Hampton Road, Ilford, Essex, appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday, September 30 where they were remanded to a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on October 30.
