Teenager who 'spat at officer' charged with being drunk and disorderly and assaulting emergency worker

A teenager has been charged over claims he spat at an officer.

Police were called to Simpson Road in Snodland at around midnight on Tuesday following a report that a man was causing a disturbance.

Officers went to the scene and 19-year-old Dean Ianson was detained in Norman Road.

It is also alleged he spat in an officer’s face following his arrest.

Mr Ianson of Nevill Road, Snodland was later charged with being drunk and disorderly in a public place and assaulting an emergency worker.

He was bailed to appear before Sevenoaks Magistrates‘ Court on June 4.
