Tesco in Lunsford Park, Larkfield, evacuated amid reports of a fire

A 24-hour supermarket has reopened after an electrical fault triggered an evacuation this morning.

Tesco in Lunsford Park, Larkfield, was closed just after 11am this morning as a precautionary measure after an electrical fault was detected in the store's lighting.

Fire crews were called to store as a result of the fault.

A spokesman for Tesco said: "Our Lunsford Park store experienced a technical fault with its lighting this morning and the fire brigade were called as a precautionary measure. We closed the store briefly to investigate and we are now open again and welcoming customers."
