The Kent Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance was called to Aylesford to assist a child who fell off his bike.

The accident happened at around 2.45pm yesterday in London Road near the retail park.

The child was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Chatham and Aylesford MP Tracey Crouch witnessed the arrival of the helicopter and Tweeted her hopes for his speedy recovery.
